Our dedicated Recreation Directors recently gathered for a full-day workshop to explore the heart of our Engage program: creating personalized, meaningful experiences for residents in memory care.

This training brought together creativity, purpose, and connection — ensuring every resident continues to be seen, heard, and celebrated each day.

A Personal Touch Story: Angie N, Medication Technician.

This month, Angie received the Personal Touch Award for turning a friendly rivalry into a meaningful connection!

One of our beloved residents is a proud BYU fan, while Angie rooted for the Utes. The two made a lighthearted bet before the big game - and when BYU came out on top, Angie kept her word and surprised him with his favorite treat from Culver's!

The resident was absolutely delighted, and the moment became more than just about football - it was about laughter, connection, and genuine care.

Thank you, Angie, for bringing joy and heart to every interaction!

Meet Josette E., our Associate Spotlight! ✨

Josette’s journey and heart for helping others make her such a valued part of our Legacy family. A graduate of the University of Queensland in Australia with a degree in Zoology, she brings her love of animals, nature, and people into everything she does.

As an Administrative Assistant, Josette plays a vital role in supporting our team and residents each day. She has served on a humanitarian trip to Fiji, enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with her family — and recently celebrated her wedding on October 10th! 💍

Having worked in several Legacy communities over the past five years, Josette shared that she’s “happy to be back” — and we couldn’t be happier to have her with us at Legacy House of South Jordan! 💙
