Students from Mountain Ridge High School visited us last week to work on their "Decades" project. Each student studied a decade, chose specific events, wrote interview questions, and then were tasked with interviewing 2 people who lived through that decade. Students studying the 50s and 60s spent time with some of our residents to get a firsthand account of what life was like. It was inspiring to see the two very different generations create connections with one another, despite being total strangers when they met.
