Meet John, he is our newest addition to the Activity Department. He was nominated for our Everyday Hero award for August because of his amazing rapport with our residents. He not only drives our residents to their doctor's appointments, but he will go out of his way to stop for errands or a scenic tour on the way back! He can always be found chit-chatting with everybody when he is not in motion!! You will never find him without a smile or kind thing to say!! He definitely goes above and beyond!

Sylvia has done it again! She has created such a beautiful space in our greenhouse that she has added a chair and a bookcase so that residents, and herself, can sit and enjoy the sun and lush plants like this stunning hibiscus!

It's not every day that you turn 101! Meet Eva! We threw her a big celebration with cake and pizza! She is such a beloved part of our community that it was a full house! Everyone came out to wish her a happy birthday!

Fun fact about Eva: she never misses exercise or any opportunity to be with her friends. We think that is what is keeping her so young!

The ocean grabbed us again this past week with one of our favorite bus trips! Coffee-by-The-Sea is a must for our Ocean State residents! First, we pick up coffee and donuts and then ride down to Scarborough Beach to sit on the gorgeous boardwalk while admiring the view! What's not to love?

Our residents paint every Saturday afternoon, and this past week, we painted these adorable birdhouses! Our residents are so creative with their designs and colors!

Last week, we went on a lunch outing to a very popular spot in town. The residents feasted on some of the best seafood around! Luckily, there was a tent to keep the hot sun at bay!!
