ASHTANGA PRIMARY SERIES WORKSHOP FEB 8TH & 15TH:
Curious about Ashtanga yoga but not sure where to start? This workshop is a welcoming introduction to the foundational principles of the Ashtanga practice.
In this two hour session led by Thelma Rivera, we’ll explore the structure and purpose of the Ashtanga Primary Series, break down key postures (asanas), and introduce breathing techniques (pranayama). We’ll also dive into the concept of tristhana, the integration of breath, movement, and gaze and how it supports a focused and transformative practice.
Whether you’re completely new to yoga or simply looking to deepen your understanding, this workshop will give you the tools and confidence to step onto your mat with intention, curiosity, and greater self-awareness.
