I‘ve already signed up for the class in Carson city. There’s always more learning to do and I really appreciate the feedback I get from Marty when I take his classes. Who wants to join me?
We're so excited to be heading to Nevada twice this year for two separate workshops coming up soon!
Check out all the details for each workshop below.
Visceral Bodywork in Carson City, NV
August 12-13, 2023 ~ 9am-6pm ~ 16.0 NCBTMB CEUs
Join us to explore Visceral Bodywork from a unique perspective. Learn how to palpate the viscera, including the Liver, Lungs, Heart, Kidneys, Bladder, and Intestines, and feel for their inherent motility. The work you'll learn seeks to aid the viscera in moving freely in all directions of their natural ranges of motion by utilizing the Morales Method® Concepts of Palpation. You'll learn to feel for restrictions in the motility of the viscera and free these restrictions with subtle manual therapy techniques.
When you facilitate these natural ranges of motion, it can result in more functional movement in the territory in which the organ resides. This can potentially relieve pain, improve posture, and create unique benefits like improved bowel function, reduced incontinence, deeper breaths, and more depending on the organ of focus. This information is rarely taught in this accessible format for manual therapists!

Pelvic Floor Work in Las Vegas, NV
September 24-25, 2023 ~ 9am-6pm ~ 16.0 NCBTMB CEUs
The Pelvic Floor is a territory rarely taught in any detail to Massage Therapists. In this workshop, you'll learn a wide variety of techniques to help you access the pelvic floor within your scope of practice as an LMT or CMT. You'll learn how to address the pelvic floor with specificity and confidence using breath work, manual therapy techniques, visceral work, and movement. These techniques will help you safely and effectively access some of the major pelvic floor territories including levator ani, obturator internus, coccygeus, p***c symphysis, coccyx, and more!
When I first became familiar with working this area, I quickly realized it to have been somewhat of a missing link in my practice over the years. I've used the techniques taught in this course to help my clients recover from injuries, to address postnatal issues, and to help with incontinence. Note: All work demonstrated in this workshop is done externally and clothed.
