Right now in our community, people are struggling in silence. Families are grieving. Young people are experimenting without understanding the risks. And outreach teams are meeting individuals exactly where they are offering compassion instead of judgment.
But we cannot do this alone.

We’re excited to announce our 2026 Overdose Prevention Training Series, hosted at Miami-Dade Public Libraries throughout the year.

These free, community-based trainings are open to all community members ages 13 and up and focus on:

Recognizing the signs of an overdose

How to respond and save a life

Naloxone (Narcan) education and distribution

Practical harm reduction strategies
