Today we had an amazing Plastic Surgery Grand Rounds with Dr. Onelio Garcia Jr., MD, FACS with a deep dive into Acellular Dermal Matrices in Breast Reconstruction: exploring integration processes, capsular contracture management, and the latest techniques shaping patient outcomes.

Thank you to Dr. Garcia for sharing his expertise in another great opportunity to learn from the best in Plastic Surgery.

This week we had the pleasure of attending the final 2025 meeting of the Miami Society of Plastic Surgery ✨ Insightful lectures from leaders in the field and even better company with our program director, Dr. Ricardo Castrellon and Dr. Joe Garri, one of our great attendings.
We are always grateful for opportunities to learn and connect. Thank you to the MSPS for a wonderful meeting and continued motivation!

This past weekend, the Larkin Plastic Surgery Team was very well represented at PSTM, with faculty, residents and our very first graduate residents taking part in multiple sessions. They shared insights and learned from peers while exploring the latest innovations in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

This past weekend we had the honor to attend the SIITTRAL 2025, co-chaired by our very own attending Dr. Dardano (). Our Program Director, Dr. Castrellon, and several of our attendings contributed as speakers alongside many talented Plastic Surgeons from all over US and abroad, making it a truly enriching event.

An excellent night out with the Plastic Surgery team! ✨ This time, we were thrilled to welcome our new interns, joining us for the first time as they got to meet some of our attendings over a great dinner and even better conversations.
We had excellent lectures and meaningful discussions about skin substitutes and wound healing, turning this night into both a warm welcome and an educational experience.
Here’s to a strong start, new connections, and continued growth together! 💪
