We’re grateful to share that Lourdes continues to improve each day. On Thursday, doctors were able to successfully remove the vena cava filter — a small device placed in a large vein to help prevent blood clots from traveling to the lungs. The procedure went smoothly and quickly, and we are praising the Lord for how well she did and how easily it was removed.

Now we are preparing for Monday’s procedure, which will allow the doctor access to her heart to place clips on the tricuspid valve to help improve her health. We are prayerful and hopeful as we move into this next stage.

We are truly overwhelmed by the love, prayers, and support from everyone who has reached out. Your encouragement means more to us than we can put into words. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you❤️

At this time, we are unsure how long Lourdes will remain in the hospital following Monday’s procedure, but we trust God’s timing through it all.

Right now, our owner John and his wife Lourdes are walking through an incredibly difficult season. Lourdes is in critical condition, and their family is leaning fully on faith during this uncertain time.

John and Lourdes are both blind, and their lives have always been a testament to resilience, strength, and unwavering trust in God. They have faced challenges with courage and grace, inspiring so many around them. Now, they need our prayers and support more than ever.

As John remains faithfully by Lourdes side, medical expenses and time away from work are adding to an already heavy burden. We are coming together as a community to lift them up in prayer, in love, and in action.
