[Carpel Tunnel Syndrome “CTS”]

Carpel Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) occurs when a nerve that goes into the hand is pinched at the wrist, or even at the spine. Swelling of the tendons responsible for moving the fingers can cause it. It usually begins with tingling in the hands, and can progress into weakening of the muscles, and finally atrophy of muscles in the effected hand. It can be painful and very uncomfortable to the sufferer. Rose Uranga suffered with CTS for two years, before her loved ones, Frank, Sylvia, and Lourdes , brought her in to our office for evaluation. She learned how her condition was just a signal that there was a problem with her spine. Rose started her care and after 9 months of adjustments, she noticed great improvements. The feeling was back in her hands! Rose also had lower back pain, which slowly but surely went away. “I feel wonderful”, Rose exclaims. NECK AND SHOULDER PAIN IMPROVED!

Our chiropractic patient is feeling a lot better and notes that his neck and shoulder have significantly improved. By focusing on precise adjustments of the atlas—the top vertebra that plays a key role in supporting the head and aligning the spine—we’re able to reduce nerve interference and improve overall balance in the body, which can have a positive effect on surrounding areas like the neck and shoulders. With this progress, he has now transitioned to a maintenance plan, coming in twice a month to help maintain his results. He works out five times a week, and with less pain and better mobility, he’s able to enjoy his workouts much more and perform at his best. 👏

NECK, SHOULDER AND SCIATIC PAIN IMPROVED!

After completing his first four months of care in our office, Mr. Mendoza returned for updated X-rays, and the improvement in his structure has been remarkable. Not only can we see positive changes objectively, but he’s also feeling the difference—his neck and shoulder discomfort have significantly improved, and his sciatica has eased as well. He was initially referred by his wife, and now their son has also begun receiving care, making it truly special for us to support their entire family’s health journey. He’s happy to be feeling better and able to keep up with his son and enjoy playing with him. [Ulcerative Colitis]

When I first started seeing Dr. Furshman, I had been receiving treatment from a GI in the form of about 20 pills a day. (A combination of muscle relaxants,steroids,and general antibiotics). Throughout my treatment with that Doctor, I was told I would never be cured and that I would likely be on those pills for the rest of my life. Through the introduction of a close friend, I started seeing Dr. Furshman three times a week, especially after he told me that he had suffered from the same disease. I started seeing results very quickly, and eventually took myself off all the medicine. After the first five months of treatment by Dr. Furshman, I went back to the GI to check my current condition and was told that I was in total remission. The practice Dr. Furshman works is one of faith in the human body and self, and one that I highly recommend to anyone with any kind of health problem. My introduction to him and his type of medicine has truly been a gift from GOD.

[Congestion]

Elian is a young boy who has not had a full night’s sleep for years due to the congestion he suffers from. His night’s were nothing but cough after cough. He had difficulty breathing during the night, which would stop him from sleeping. His mom, Blanca says that she would stay up for hours, even a full night because it was so bad. Blanca says that she does not remember a night where she did not have to give him medication. The medications were for the congestion, the cough and something to help him sleep. She said she felt horrible popping her young body with drugs all the time. She said that you could even see that he was having mild side effects to the medications he had been taking for so long. He seemed tired all the time, which stopped him from learning at school and playing with his friends.
When Elian began chiropractic care, Blance said that within only 2 weeks of care, she noticed that the coughing at night has lessened and the congestion seems to be going away little by little, slowly and surely. She now has not given him any medication at night and is ecstatic that her son is getting healthier. “He used to snore at night and it’s gone!”(Blanca)

[Constipation]

Ramon was working out at Gold’s Gym one day and met, Juan(Dr. Furshman’s assistant) who was at the gym giving complimentary spinal stress evaluations. Ramon decided to get the stress evaluation done and the results were the answer to his questions. Ramon suffered from constipation and “coincidentally”was told by Juan that the pinched nerve that Ramon had on his spine could cause stomach problems like constipation. Ramon decided to make an appointment at our office top so he can be thoroughly evaluated by Dr. Furshman.
Ramon began care immediately and within only the first 3 months saw the results he was looking for. He went from going to the bathroom every 2 days to twice a day. He also says that he has better posture and that his workouts are improving every day. He used to have mild knee pains while working out and they are gone. Ramon says that everyone should be under Chiropractic Care if they want to be healthy.

LOW BACK AND KNEE PAIN IMPROVED!
Our patient, Mrs. Chi, recently had her updated X-rays, and the results are truly amazing. After just four months of consistent care, she is feeling significantly better—her low back pain has completely resolved, and her knee pain has improved tremendously. The imaging shows a noticeable increase in joint space within her knees, which is a great indicator of reduced pressure and improved function. By focusing on correcting the atlas (the top vertebra in the neck), we were able to restore proper alignment throughout her spine, which helped reduce stress on her joints, including her knees. This improved alignment allows the body to move and heal more efficiently. She was referred to our office by her son, and she is incredibly happy that she decided to come in and start care. ❤️

[Infant Care]

From birth, Garrison had not been able to have a bowel movement on his own. He was put in neonatal intensive care(NICU) in Anchorage, Alaska. They though he was going to have to be flown to Seattle for emergency surgery. Luckily, they were able to stimulate a bowel movement by using a suppository. So he was able to go home.
We saw several doctors including a pediatric Gastroenterologist, who were unable to help him go without the use of suppositories. The diagnosis was Redundant Sigmoid Colon (extra long colon), and the treatment was to continue to manually stimulate Garrison, until he was old enough fiber to go on his own.
Unwilling to accept this, we took him to a naturopath in Anchorage. The naturopath tried various treatments, which helped the stomach pains but still no success in producing a bowel movement of his own.
The naturopath suggested when we move to Florida to see a Chiropractor, because he may have been traumatized at birth.
After a couple of sessions (adjustments) with Dr. Davis, Garrison is not completely having bowel movements on his own! We are certain this due to the treatment by Dr. Davis as no other factors(food,etc.) were changed.

[Chron’s Disease]

Vinnie Fauth came to our office with a condition that made her mornings unbearable. Vinnie was diagnosed with Crone’s disease in 1991. A friend referred Vinnie, to help beat this condition and reach her optimal health. After her third adjustment, Vinnie called the office just to say how great she slept. “I’m usually up tossing and turning all night due to the Crone’s Disease, but after only 3 adjustments, I can’t believe how great I feel. I just wanted to say thank you for giving me my life back!”, she said happily. “ I love Dr. Davis and how she understands my issues with this disease. I think Michella is a doll, and Dan always puts a smile on my face, thanks guys!” Vinnie has stayed consistent with her care, and brings her dog, Nikki, in for adjusting, as well. ✨ Patient Testimonial – Mrs. Munsey ✨

Mrs. Munsey was referred to Dr. Davis at our Hallandale office by her hairdresser, Gina, while seeking relief from persistent and debilitating pain. She had been diagnosed with piriformis syndrome, a neuromuscular condition in which the piriformis muscle compresses the sciatic nerve, leading to pain, tingling, and numbness radiating from the buttock down the leg.

Prior to beginning care, Mrs. Munsey had been prescribed muscle relaxers and pain medications; however, she experienced little to no relief. Frustrated and in significant discomfort, she was eager to find a solution.

Mrs. Munsey and her husband, Pastor Stephan Munsey, lead the Family Christian Center in Munster, Indiana, and frequently travel between Indiana and South Florida. When she first began care, she was understandably skeptical. During her first three visits, she questioned how Upper Cervical Chiropractic adjustments could impact the pain in her lower back, hip, and leg.

However, by her fourth visit, she experienced what she described as a “day and night” difference. By her sixth visit, the shooting and throbbing pain had completely resolved.

Since then, Mrs. Munsey has referred her husband and grandchildren to our office. Although they reside in Indiana, they make it a priority to receive care with Dr. Davis whenever they are in South Florida.
