Hope Safety Peace
A Workshop Fostering the unshakeable, deeper You, Your Higher Self

Are you feeling overwhelmed by what is happening around you and the world? Is there something inside nudging you to seek balance and breathing room from agitation and anxiety?

You have the answer within you. By connecting to your Higher self, your Soul Self, you can access a deep and unshakeable sense of safety, wholeness, inner peace, and personal empowerment.

Join Anya and co-host Deer Song Acupuncture for an afternoon of healing, transmissions and rebalance.

In this interactive class, we will (1) experience meditations to expand your perceptions, open your heart, and connect with your Higher Self/Soul Self; (2) experience an energetic cleansing and release; (3) receive a Reiki healing attunement; (4) receive an energetic alignment with your quantum DNA blueprint; and (5) discuss simple practices that support your body, mind, and spirit in fostering and maintaining a sense of safety and hope.

This class will be held in Pasadena, CA on September 14, 2025, from 12:00pm to 3:30pm PT.

Participants are welcome to stay after the event for community engagement, to view crystal offerings, or to address additional questions with Anya from 3:30pm to 4:00pm PT.

Hi All!

Deer Song has not posted in a minute and we are here with you!

I wrote a poem last September “June Bug Circles the Himalayan Cedar Tree.” 9 months later, I share this poem on zoom with a poetry group, and my friend, June bug shows up right before the reading!

I share this story to share that we are all part of nature and have a sacred connection to all.

Lotus Seed Pod 🪷 Tea is a perfect cooling herbal drink to quench your thirst in the heat of 🥵 summer! It supports our digestion system to process better, especially with all the ice cream and iced drinks (Rice, not ICE!) we tend to over-consume during this time. It also calms our hearts to promote better sleep.

Soak, wash, and boil. That’s it! 💪 add jujube dates if you want to make it into a sweet drink 🍎

A pride celebration in my hometown El Monte!

There’s a lot going on this month for many of us. I’ve been juggling my own self care with offering a hand to others! I just want to let everyone know that Deer Song Acupuncture stands in solidarity with our brothers and sisters and during times of crisis please know that self care is important. See the redness around where needles are inserted? That is one of the signs of “the arrival of Qi.” Acupuncture enables the body to facilitate the right amount of Qi and Blood flow to areas needed to achieve balance and health. See you in clinic!

Grateful to be celebrating Pride month in 2025! For pride month, I would like to share a sacred practice with community— the practice of the I -Ching divination.

Backbend

There’s this point of a backbend when I face the liminal choice to stay in the posture or come out. In the body it feels like facing an unknown — the place that I’ve never gone if I linger longer in this posture. Can I breathe through this discomfort — almost fear — embodiment? And yet, when I do, and the duration is past that comfort zone, it feels powerfully light and powerfully satisfying. I let it go and trusted that I have everything I need right now.

Take a morning walk and slowly breathe in and out. Observe the life around you. The trees form a circle, the turtles sun bathe in community, and your gentleness inspires gentleness. What if gentleness was our norm and nature was our inspiration? I’m grateful for the abundance of time — was it ever really there?
