Tuesday Tips ✨
Here’s your nudge to show a little kindness today — to yourself and to the people crossing your path.

Kindness doesn’t have to be grand. It can look like taking a breath before reacting, offering a genuine compliment, or giving yourself permission to not be perfect (because, spoiler: no one is).

Small kindnesses shift the whole day. Go start a ripple.

Our Body Image Support Group is back this winter 💫
Our next 4-week Body Image Support Group starts January 15th — a space to explore your relationship with your body with compassion, not criticism.
If you’re tired of fighting with your body, feeling “never enough,” or getting stuck in comparison, you don’t have to do that alone. In this group, we’ll focus on:
Building a kinder inner voice
Understanding body image triggers
Practicing grounding + self-acceptance in community

Tuesday Tips with wellness coach Janet Steady:

Ground and Stay Warm

Cold days, long nights and even holiday stress can leave your body and mood running low. Stoke your metabolism with warm, grounding meals — soups, a simple crock pot meal, roasted vegetables or a baked potato. Season with spices, some butter or olive oil, grated cheese, or a handful of nuts for lasting energy.
Meals don’t have to be elaborate to be fulfilling - use what you have and like - each bite offers connection and care.

✨ Tuesday Tips: Transitions & FLOW ✨

Transitions — big or small — can yank us out of the present and straight into stress-mode. Before you bulldoze into the next thing, try this quick 10-second grounding ritual called FLOW to bring yourself back into your body and the moment.

F — Feet:
Pause and feel your feet on the ground. Let the support beneath you register.

L — Legs:
Gently squeeze your legs with your hands. Notice the sensation.

O — Observe:
Check in with what’s happening inside — fast, slow, calm, buzzing, tense. No fixing, just noticing.

W — Wonder:
Look around and choose one thing to marvel at — a tree, a texture, the wild fact that cars exist. Let a little awe in.

A tiny reset like this can turn a slippery transition into a moment of presence. Give it a try today, especially when you’re rushing.

✨ Tuesday Tips ✨
Before you charge headlong into the day, find just one moment to pause. Take a few full, deep breaths. Let the world around you come back into focus—your feet on the ground, your shoulders softening, the pace of life slowing just enough for you to step back into yourself.

Today’s offering is a reminder wrapped in poetry, inviting us all to move with intention rather than momentum.

Walk Slowly — Danna Faulds
It only takes a reminder to breathe,
a moment to be still, and just like that,
something in me settles, softens, makes
space for imperfection. The harsh voice
of judgment drops to a whisper and I
remember again that life isn’t a relay
race; that we will all cross the finish
line; that waking up to life is what we
were born for. As many times as I
forget, catch myself charging forward
without even knowing where I’m going,
that many times I can make the choice
to stop, to breathe, and be, and walk
slowly into the mystery.

May this be your cue today: pause, breathe, notice… and walk slowly into whatever comes next. 🌿

The holiday season can be beautiful… and brutally hard. 💛

This year Cheyne is offering a Honoring Grief Workshop designed to help you move gently through this season with support, ritual, and space to feel what you feel — no pretending everything is “fine” required.

In this workshop, we’ll:

Create space to honor who and what you’re grieving

Use expressive arts and reflection to explore your story

Connect with others who get it

✨ We’ve also updated our pricing to make it more accessible

If this time of year feels heavy, you don’t have to carry it alone.
