The Skier’s Edge and Hockey Edge team is sad to announce that our founder, Joel Loane, passed away peacefully after a long illness. He passed in the arms of his beloved wife, Louise.

Joel was the founder of Skier’s Edge, a role which took him all over the world. He not only built world class lateral fitness machines that trained Olympians and World Cup athletes, but built lifelong friendships with great coaches and skiing’s best characters.

Joel was an innovator and forward thinker who helped bring lateral training to thousands of home users, professional teams, and top-level athletes worldwide. To honor his legacy, we at Skier’s Edge and Hockey Edge will continue to push boundaries, evolve, and always keep our customers at the center of what we do.

Rest in peace Joel. We’ll miss you.
