Live Well Home Care is in search of part time help for the Laurel, NE area.
Must be at least 19 years of age, very responsible, reliable, caring, dependable, and flexible. Must have your own transportation, a valid drivers license, proof of car insurance/registration and the ability to pass background check per state standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices as needed
- Administer medications according to the care plan and document accurately
- Prepare and serve meals based on dietary restrictions and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with the client
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professional
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
