We are currently seeking two Part-Time Drivers to join our team at Live Well.
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Drivers are responsible for safely transporting clients to and from appointments, hospital discharges, and other destinations that require special accommodations.
The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with varying daily schedules.
To qualify for this role, applicants must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and have a good driving record. Drivers must also be physically capable of pushing a wheelchair with a person in it and bending at the waist to touch the ground repeatedly throughout the day. A background check and drug test, in accordance with state standards, are required. Reliability, punctuality, and excellent customer service skills are essential for this position.

Live Well Home Care is in search of part time help for the Laurel, NE area.

Must be at least 19 years of age, very responsible, reliable, caring, dependable, and flexible. Must have your own transportation, a valid drivers license, proof of car insurance/registration and the ability to pass background check per state standards.

Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices as needed
- Administer medications according to the care plan and document accurately
- Prepare and serve meals based on dietary restrictions and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with the client
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professional
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
