Realtors ,buyers, and sellers of homes listen up . how do you react in stressful situations?
For me ! In stressful moments, I don’t react — I pivot with my breath.

The Power of Zoom
Twice a month, we gather across screens and miles, sharing our days, our questions, our pauses. We listen not to respond, but to understand.
Within our sacred space patience, tolerance and respect is practiced, we come ready to learn about each other's cultures and through meditation we turn gently inward, meeting our own biases with curiosity rather than judgment.
What we keep discovering is simple and profound: when we slow down,
when we stop trying to fix or explain,
and truly listen we are far more alike than we ever imagined.

So incredibly proud of my nephew for carrying on my brother’s vision—his father’s company. An extraordinary chemical engineer by trade, he was a humble savant who rarely showed his soft side—a trait that ran through all of our family unless we truly let you in.
He was only 66 when he left us (2019–2021). I love this photo because it captures the essence of who he truly was beneath it all.
The chant was his favorite and simply translated
We meditate on that most adored Supreme Lord, the creator, whose effulgence (divine light) illumines all realms (physical, mental and spiritual).

can’t believe it’s been 7 years since I took this certification with the incredible Yoga for Arthritis community. Steffany Moonaz
is truly one of a kind.
Lately, I’ve felt a gentle but persistent call to return to this work—so I’m listening closely to those inner stirrings.
In this image, my head is turned toward the floor due to my neck surgery. This is an adaptive pose, and it beautifully reflects the essence of yoga:
meeting your body exactly where it is.
Yoga is not about forcing shapes or pushing past limits.
It’s about moving with gentleness, compassion, and awareness—letting go of the belief that there’s a “right” way to look in a pose.
As 2025 exhales, we bow in gratitude.
As 2026 arrives, we step softly into being becoming.”
May you all step into 2026 with your own sense of becoming.

You don’t have to give heaps of money to change a life sometimes just showing up with an open heart ❤️ can make that difference
This year, our community and a few family members showed up in the most beautiful, spontaneous way when a local special needs school shared a simple ask.
(Gosh I love our community! Have I said that before? 😄)
They didnt ask for anything fancy… just new or used basketballs, shaving cream, remote controls, chalk. Things you might not think twice about — but for little ones ages 2–5, they become powerful tools for sensory play, comfort, and joy. I love this so much because it reminds me that
giving doesn’t need to be big.
It just needs to be real. Take a look at the video as a few of kids unpacked their toys .. I hope this will warm your heart as we continue to celebrate the meaning of this season.
Stay tuned in the coming year to see how you can gently support **The Haven**, a special-needs community doing beautiful work for our littlest humans. 💛

Inner Shift is a community page committed to providing yoga/meditation to caregivers and families of person with mental illness and to individuals in communities who do not have the means and access to yoga and meditation.
My personal experience has lead me on this path to create awareness and to open dialogue in our community and in the workplace on mental illness. The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. Just think if we all took that one step ....
