Hello friends. My name is Karen Adele Bilski. I am the owner of Illumin8 Shamanic Healing, LLC inside The Healing Shed. I worked in Transfusion Medicine as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, MLS(ASCP). As a child, I always had a passion for helping others, including animals. I started to study energy, vibration and frequency and found myself studying about all the modalities of healing. I have always been drawn to indigenous tribes and earth medicine. I also learned about Alberto Villoldo, PhD. The first book I read was Shaman, Healer, Sage. How to Heal Yourself and Others with the Energy Medicine Of The Americas. His book resonated with my soul and I knew that I may have a double passion. A scientist and an energy worker. Well, in 2019, my brother Christopher took his life. He struggled with addiction and depression. My life was upside down and the question came up over and over in my mind, What is my purpose? What can I do to honor his life and help others? I remember the message I received very clearly as I was on a boat in the Adirondack Mountains. I was lost, crying, scared, and I felt alone. I heard this voice, “You need to open a Healing Space” It was my brother’s voice. I shouted”WHAT, Me, No Way!” I cried even more and then stayed on the lake for a few more hours. On my journey home I was pondering my next steps. I had become a Mesa Carrier, Jikiden Reiki Practitioner, Holy Fire Reiki Master Teacher as well as a Fire and Drum Circle Facilitator. I walked away from the corporate world and focused my purpose on ENERGY HEALING .I did open my Healing Space in Plymouth, known as Spiritual Illumination and Wholistic Healing Center. I opened my second space and changed my name to Illumin8
Shamanic Healing, LLC. My healing sessions take place inside The Healing Shed.
I have had a difficult couple of years. I also lost my other brother Buddy to an aortic aneurysm in 2021 and I just lost my mom on 5/16/2025.Too much loss, so I stepped away from my practice to take care of my mom(pants) She loved joining us at the Full Moon Fires. I can hear her voice and she is saying get off your butt and get to work. You need the healing and so do others. Well, here I come!
Someone asked, “ What’s is in your FIRE that makes it so healing. Fire is one of the Elements used to transform and transmute energy. When I build a fire for my events,I use Sage, Selenite, To***co and Prayer to bless my fire. The other elements I use in healing is the Earth, Water and Wind.
