Habituation …. Probably the most important phase during myofunctional therapy. It might even be where we spend most of our time in therapy. We are not only teaching the client to use their muscles for function but helping train them to carry over these skills through life.

4 months of MARPE and going strong. On week 12 of Angel Aligners and still turning 1xweek. Not many changes but now my nose will run when needed😊 just trickles right out or if I tilt back it will trickle back. Right side jaw soreness during mouth wide open but comes along with max opening.
Right side clicking still present but more muffled and dull sound rather than loud pop.
- stopped face pull mask, too@much pressure at TMJ and jaw was locking open with loud cracking during closure ( during bubble blowing) Otherwise All going great! 😊 next check up is Dec 22. So I’ll keep you posted !

That’s a wrap for this cutie and her amazing parents for feeding therapy . She is now on my follow up schedule as she is now rocking a bottle and mom can now go back to work. If your little one struggles with oral dysfunction impacting :
