Upcoming webinar hosted by CT United Ways and the Department of Social Services

Several sections of federal law H.R. 1, signed on July 4, will impact Connecticut residents who receive SNAP benefits as early as November 1:

SNAP work requirements
SNAP eligibility changes for non-citizens
SNAP “Heat & Eat”
SNAP-Ed funding elimination

Connecticut United Ways and the CT Department of Social Services invite you to an informational training webinar where you can learn more from subject matter experts about these changes and how to navigate them.

This week we got to say best wishes and congratulations to some of our friends who have reached such an important milestone to transition successfully to the public school. 🏫 We are incredibly proud of their hard work and success and can’t wait to learn more about their journey. We also want to thank our staff members who have worked so hard to help these friends achieve their goals. To our families, thank you for allowing us to be apart of this journey with your child. 🧑‍🎓

Cheers to more growth and empowerment💙💚🩷
