Nothing says summer like good food, good people, and a sunny afternoon. Our 3rd floor block party BBQ at Evergreen Crossing was an absolute blast! Evergreen Crossings turned on some ovens and brought the sweet competition! Four of our talented residents baked their best chocolate chip cookies, and the judges showed up hungry and ready to vote.

After plenty of taste-testing, Eileen’s cookies rose to the top! She took home the coveted chocolate chip cookie blanket, the 1st place medal, and of course, the official wooden spoon trophy.

Big thanks to all our amazing bakers and cookie connoisseurs who made today so special. We’re still on a sugar high!

Aloha from Evergreen Crossings!

We kicked off the day in our theater with a virtual tour of the beautiful Hawaiian islands. After that, we enjoyed a full day of Hawaiian flavors and island vibes—tropical dishes, sweet treats, and music that had us feeling like we were on the beach.

The fun didn’t stop there! We learned how to hula, played some lighthearted Hawaiian-themed games, and shared plenty of laughs along the way. It was the next best thing to being there!
