🌱⚽️🥍⚾️ Spring Sports Safety Starts Now!
As our kids head back onto the fields for Soccer, Baseball, Lacrosse, and Softball, it’s the perfect time for a quick safety check. A few simple steps can help keep young athletes healthy, confident, and ready for a great season!

🏃‍♂️ Warm Up & Stretch
Helps prevent muscle strains and early‑season injuries.

🛡️ Wear the Right Gear
Shin guards for soccer, helmets for baseball and lacrosse, face protection for softball — properly fitted equipment makes all the difference.

💧 Hydrate Often
Even on cooler spring days, kids need regular water breaks.

🩺 Stay Up to Date on Annual Physicals
A yearly check‑in ensures your athlete is cleared and ready to play safely.

🌤️ Play Smart, Play Safe — and Have Fun!
We’re cheering on all our young athletes this spring! 🌼

🐢🐾 April Vacation Plans = SOLVED 🐾🐢

Looking for something fun (and actually educational 👀) to do with the kids during April break? The week at the Cape Cod Children's Museum & Discovery Center is ALL about animals—and it’s packed with hands-on fun your kids will love!

Think real turtle parts (yep 😲), animal ambassadors, music + movement, and even a little messy play to round it all out. Every day brings something different, so you can mix it up all week long!

✨ Highlights include:
🐢 “Stinky Turtles” interactive experience
🦊 Meet animals + learn about habitats with Buttonwood Zoo
🎤 A super fun rapping storytime (kids go wild for this!)
📚 Interactive story adventures around the museum
🎶 Music + movement to burn off that vacation energy
🎨 And a messy craft day (because… why not 😆)

Perfect for toddlers through early elementary—especially if you need a break from “I’m bored!” by day two of vacation 🙃

Our Bass River Pediatric Providers wants to remind families: it’s officially tick season!

Outdoor adventures are still encouraged — just add a quick tick check to your routine after playground time, sports, or exploring the backyard.

And one quick tip: you don’t need to send your child’s tick to the town for testing. It won’t change how we care for a tick bite, and we’re always here to guide you on what to do next.

Not sure what’s normal or when to call? We’re always happy to help.
