Today we celebrate the hands behind the healing. 🤍

Happy Birthday, Liliana! 🎉

Liliana found her calling in massage therapy thanks to a little encouragement from her best friend and it turned out to be the perfect fit. After earning her certification from the National Holistic Institute of Massage in January 2023, she joined Headlines Salon & The Spa at Hillcrest in August 2024 and has been restoring balance ever since.

Trained in therapeutic massage, deep sports blend, Ayurvedic massage, cupping, reflexology, Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, and relaxation massage, Liliana’s goal is beautifully simple: help every guest leave feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and genuinely cared for.

Her golden advice?
Stretch and stay hydrated. Your body will thank you, and your massage will last even longer.

Fun fact: If she wasn’t a massage therapist, she might have been a chef. She once considered the Culinary Institute of America. These days, she nourishes through the art of touch instead of cuisine.

Her perfect day off includes a rainy movie marathon, a dry cappuccino from a local café, and dreaming about Italy and its stunning cathedral views. Playlist? 2010 hits on repeat, with “En el 200” by Natalia holding a special place. Most recent binge? New Girl, because laughter is its own therapy.

Licensed since March 2023 after graduating from Paul Mitchell School in Sacramento, Destiny joined Headlines Salon & The Spa at Hillcrest that very same month and has been elevating skin (and spirits) ever since.

What started as her own skincare journey became her purpose: helping clients achieve the kind of glow that doesn’t just show up in selfies… it walks into the room before you do.

Image Professional certified and trained in advanced chemical peels, Hydrafacials, and Glo2Facials, Destiny is known for radiant results. But her true signature? Facelifts and brow makeovers. Because as she says, “Great brows are the best accessory you’ll ever own.”

Today we celebrate the woman who started it all. 🎂

Happy Birthday to our founder, Marsha Miller. 🤍

In 1985, Marsha opened the doors to Headlines Salon with a vision, a whole lot of heart, and the kind of determination that builds something lasting. What began as a dream grew into Headlines Salon & Spa in 2004, alongside her daughter and business partner Kristi Goldby, expanding into a full day spa and deepening our commitment to exceptional care.

Fast forward to July 2024, and that vision expanded once again with Headlines The Spa at Hillcrest doubling our spa space next door. Eight stunning treatment rooms. Two private couple’s suites. A wellness lounge. A private relaxation and party suite. A beautifully renovated salon with upgraded styling stations, advanced nail equipment, and a reimagined retail space. Every detail thoughtfully curated. Every step forward rooted in the same original heart.

As we celebrate 41 years in business, we celebrate the woman whose courage and leadership made it all possible. Marsha didn’t just open a salon. She built a legacy of beauty, service, and community that continues to evolve while staying true to its purpose: delivering an unparalleled guest experience from booking to goodbye.
