♥️🐇Thousands of rabbits get dumped every year after being used as photoshoot props + Easter basket add-ons.

So here’s your yearly reminder that rabbits [like Olive!] cannot survive in the wild. Please, please don’t buy a bunny for Easter unless you’re ready for ::

1) A 10+ year commitment

2) Expensive rabbit savvy exotic vet visits. (The closest one to us is 2 hours round trip.) Rabbits have very different internal systems than cats/dogs + need specialized care.

3) Possibly never being able to pick them up to snuggle + learning to connect with them on their terms. (They are a prey animal after all!)

4) Never keeping them in a cage of any kind

5) Making a well thought out plan to get a second one, as they are meant to live in pairs.

6) Absolute chaos (AND cuteness.)

✨ Living with rabbits for most of my life has brought me indescribable joy, but they’re NOT starter pets!

✨ If you see a domestic rabbit out in the wild please contact your local rescue immediately.

✨ Shoutout to for their endless dedication + hardwork! We can’t wait to find a husbun for Olive through you this year!
