The single leg hip hinge is 1 of the more useful stability exercises at your disposal. We love using differant varieties of this exercise for differant types of clientele. This is much a great sports performance drill as it is a fall prevention drill depending on the progression. Here we use a ViPR for added stability assistance. The fitness industry is broken.

Okay maybe that's a "hot take" but one of the biggest drawbacks of traditional gyms is lack of expertise and lack of direction.

Lunges are an effective exercise for strengthening various muscle groups. It also is helpful for improving balance and stability.

Here's a summary of how to perform forward lunges:

1. Stand with your feet hip-width apart, hands on hips (or hold dumbbells by your sides for added resistance).

2. Take a big step forward with your right foot.
(The size of the step takes some time to perfect. DM us for a fail safe way to determine this)

3. Bend both knees, lowering your left knee toward the floor without touching it. Try to create right angles with both knees, and ensure your rear knee tracks behind your back side toes.

4. Keep your chest upright, & maintain a neutral spine with your core engaged.

5. Drive force through the ground to push yourself up to a tall upright position.

6. Repeat the lunge exercise with your left leg.

7. Aim for two to three sets of 10 repetitions on each side for an effective workout.

Remember to maintain proper form and control throughout the exercise to maximize its benefits and reduce the risk of injury.

Healthy Eating : Greek Salad

Ingredients:

3 tbsp. red wine vinegar
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tsp. confectioners' sugar
Kosher salt and pepper
2 tbsp. capers, drained and roughly chopped
1 tsp. chopped fresh oregano
1 lb. mixed cherry, grape, and campari tomatoes (halved or cut into wedges)
8 oz. Persian cucumbers, cut into 1/4-in.-thick rounds
1/2 very small red onion, thinly sliced
1/3 c. pitted Kalamata olives, halved
Feta cheese, cut into small cubes, for serving

Directions:

Step 1
In small bowl, whisk together vinegar, oil, sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper. Stir in capers and oregano.

Step 2
Arrange tomatoes and cucumbers on a platter and scatter onion and olives on top. Spoon dressing over salad and serve with feta if desired

Shoulder:
Lateral Raise 3 sets x 12-15 reps
Shoulder Press 5 sets 5 -8 reps
Upright rows 4 sets 8-10 reps
Reverse fly 4 sets 8-10 reps

- After proper warmup -

Abs workout:
Plank 3 sets until loss of form
Hanging knee tuck Raise: 3 sets x 20 reps
Lying Leg elevated crunch: 3 sets x 20 reps
Kneeling Ab wheel Rollout: 3 sets until loss of form"
