Help us celebrate Shelby, one of our amazing Speech-Language Pathologists, who has been with us for over a year! 🎉
Shelby is ASHA-certified and has been serving the Memphis/Desoto County community for the past 7 years, primarily working with pediatrics—the community she grew up in! She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Mississippi.
✨ Shelby’s experience spans articulation, voice, fluency, language, pragmatics, AAC, cognition, and dysphagia. She has worked in schools, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient therapy clinics, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the children and families she serves.
🏆 In October 2024, Shelby was honored with the ASHA Award for Continuing Education after completing 70+ hours of professional development in just 36 months. She also holds additional certifications in DIR-Floortime and Natural Language Acquisition therapy models.
Shelby’s passion is providing child-led, neuroaffirming therapy that helps children succeed to their fullest potential. 💙
Outside of work, Shelby loves spending time with her family. 💕
