🌟 What Is Gestalt Language Processing? 🌟
At Moore Pediatric Therapy, we love celebrating all the unique ways children grow and communicate—and that includes our gestalt language processors!

Some children learn language in chunks or “scripts” instead of single words. These might sound like favorite lines from shows, songs, or familiar phrases—“Let’s go!”, “Ready set go!”, or even full sentences. This is called gestalt language processing, and it’s a natural and valid way to develop communication. Every child’s language journey looks different—and that’s something to celebrate. 💛

Tablets and learning apps can seem fun and educational. They show colors, letters, puzzles, and songs. However, they are not a good replacement for real play. Children learn best through hands-on, people-filled experiences that build language, motor skills, problem-solving, and social skills.
