Clinton Ray Herring

Clinton Ray Herring, affectionately known as Clint, was born on December 20, 1963, in Memphis, TN. He passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, in Horn Lake, MS, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family.

Clint was a talented graphic designer who worked for CCL Label, previously known as Screen Graphics Incorporated. In addition to his career, he was the proud owner of Herring Auto. His professional life was marked by his exceptional skills and strong work ethic, traits that endeared him to many.

Outside of work, Clint was a person who possessed a big personality, possessing brilliant knowledge and opinions on a variety of subjects and the ability to connect with anyone he met. His natural charm and outgoing demeanor allowed him to form friendships easily, and he was often regarded as a role model and mentor by those around him. As a devout Christian, he shared the Gospel in a loving and caring manner, guiding others with his faith and compassion.

Clint's personal life was equally fulfilling. He was a dedicated husband to his beloved wife of 30 years, Heather (Ficklin) Herring. Together, they created a nurturing environment for their family. Clint was a devoted father to his three sons: Micah Herring (wife Becky), Daniel Herring, and Nathaniel McAfee. His pride in his children was evident, as he dedicated his life to ensuring they had better opportunities than he did. He was especially proud of his grandsons and cherished the moments spent with his granddaughter, whom he adored.

The memories of Clint will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew him. Heather recalls how from the very first moment they met, his smile and kind eyes instilled a sense of safety and trust within her. Nathaniel experienced a special bond with his father from the start. Clint was always there for his children, ready to protect and care for them. From road trips filled with original songs to shared moments of deep conversation, Clint's influence was profound.

In addition to his family, Clint's interests included working on cars, a passion that reflected his love for mechanics and creativity. He was also eager to learn how to play the guitar, showcasing his thirst for knowledge and self-improvement.

Clint is survived by his loving mother, Linda Herring; his brothers, Duane Herring, Paul Herring, and Jeremy Herring (wife Jennifer); his cherished sons and their families; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Linton Herring.

As we remember Clint, let us celebrate a life marked by caring relationships, an unwavering commitment to family, and a compassionate spirit that touched the lives of many. His legacy will live on through the lives he enriched and the love he shared.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. - Philippians 4:8-9

Billy Gene Glover

Billy Gene Glover, born in Bear Creek TX September 24, 1939. He is survived by his beloved wife Vaudine (Moore) Glover, daughter Darlene Johnson (Bobby) and twin sister Barbara Jane Dugger, three grandchildren, Shane, Joshua, and Lea-Shea; six great-grand grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Judon and Lillie (Joyce) Glover, brothers Frank Glover, and Don Glover, sister Elizabeth Reed.

Billy is a Texas native and proud of it - and he was always wanting to go home to Texas to see his family and friends. We all have good memories of Billy. He was a lot of fun, a bit mischievous at time, but in a playful way. We will cherish these memories - they will be held dear and never forgotten.

Billy was a real person who made mistakes, just like we all do, but he did his best. He was a hard worker and did his best to provide for his family. He moved his family from Dallas to Memphis so he could provide a better life for them, and he found good job opportunity as a crane operator. After retiring, he started his own lawn business that grew by leaps and bounds by word of mouth. He refused to sit still and had to stay busy. He loved gardening and did so until he just couldn't. We all loved the fresh home grown veggies he grew. He always shared his bounty with family and neighbors, and he was always willing to help others. He was loved by many.

Today we come together to lay him to rest. We will think of him often, and he will be deeply missed. But he is in no more pain, no more suffering. He is at peace and in the presence of our Lord and Savior who heard him say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant. Welcome Home."

He had a special inclination to support veterans, holding a profound respect for those who served. His warmth did not go unnoticed, especially by his loving wife, Leila Diana Hargett Shreeve, with whom he shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. He was educated at the University of Kansas, where he earned a master’s degree that would set the foundation for his teaching career. Jimbo attended First Baptist Church of Horn Lake, where his faith was as important to him as his family and friends.

Kevin King

Kevin King, a beloved and memorable figure, was born on January 15, 1963, in Memphis, Tennessee, and he left this world unexpectedly, of natural causes, on October 4, 2025, also in Memphis. Kevin lived a life that was defined by devotion, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to his family and work. His legacy as a successful businessperson was marked by his unparalleled work ethic, never missing a day in the field and earning accolades as the best salesperson. Kevin had a natural talent for building long-term relationships, notably David Lee, his childhood best friend, which endeared him to colleagues and clients alike.

Those who knew Kevin will forever cherish his humor and the way he could weave captivating stories about life. He had a disarming nature and infectious laugh that made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. His gift for making friends, even with in-laws, showcased his open heart and charming spirit. He was intelligent—always knowing something about everything—and demonstrated an extraordinary memory for details, whether it was about his favorite subjects like U.S. history or obscure Notre Dame achievements.

Kevin's personality sparkled with warmth; he was the best at awkward jokes, and his ability to make anyone belly-laugh will be sorely missed. His home was always immaculate, reflecting his charmingly OCD tendencies, and it was not just his house that he kept pristine, but his car as well. He was a sharp dresser, taking pride in his appearance, which complemented his beautiful green eyes and infectious smile. He was a true loyalist, not only to his family but also to his passions, such as his beloved Notre Dame team. The outcome of a game often set the mood for his day, and he took great pleasure in discussing and sharing his insights about his children, who brought him immense pride.

Kevin adored spending time with his spouse of the last 14 years, Sally Adams, and sharing his pride in his two girls, Crystal (Mary) O'Guin and Tyler King. He found immense joy in cherished moments shared with his sister and closest friend, Celina (Scott) Roseberry, and her children, Brande (Larry) Immel and Cubbins (Ashley) Roseberry. He also leaves his brother Kelly King and sister Tara (Keith) Fray, alongside a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

As we remember Kevin, we celebrate his proudest accomplishments, which included raising his children with love, maintaining a pristine home and car, exhibiting an unwavering work ethic, and caring for his parents, sister, and extended family. He had a knack for always paying it forward with his whole heart, positively impacting everyone around him.

A celebration of Kevin's life will be held on October 11, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ainstree Club House in Germantown, Tennessee. All who knew and loved him are invited to come together and honor a man who brought joy, laughter, and unwavering loyalty into our lives.

Kevin's sudden departure leaves a void that will not easily be filled, but his spirit will live on in the memories of his loved ones. The laughter, the stories, and the love he shared will remain etched in our hearts forever.

Laine Eric Wester

Laine Eric Wester, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, left this world on September 22, 2025, in Memphis, TN, at the age of 60. Born on November 4, 1964, in Fort Bragg, NC, Laine lived a life rich with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

For almost three decades, Laine dedicated his career to surveillance at Bally's casino, later known as 1st Jackpot. His passion for his job was evident as he often came home to share amusing tales from his time watching guests on the cameras, with one memorable story being of a man leaving the casino inebriated and unwittingly walking into a pond in the parking lot. This love for life and those around him shone through in every story he told.

Laine cherished family vacations and special holiday gatherings where he would go all out decorating to create a festive atmosphere filled with joy. His children still hold vivid memories of him playfully tossing them into the pool, embodying the spirit of fun and bonding that defined their time together. Stubborn yet loving, Laine was always there for his family, a devoted father and attentive husband who thrived in connecting with others. His playful nature was often revealed through the pranks and jokes he shared, bringing smiles and laughter to those lucky enough to know him.

Though he faced a hard-fought battle with cancer, Laine proved time and again that his spirit was unyielding. He approached life with strength and resolve, never allowing his illness to change the vibrant person he was. Watching him navigate this tough time was the hardest experience for his loved ones. Yet, they find solace in knowing that he is now at peace, reunited in heaven with his parents, Jack and Tansy (Smith) Wester, Sr., and his sister Tami Dunn, who welcomed him with open arms.

Before he found his passion at the casino, Laine served in the U.S. Navy from October 1983 to September 1987, stationed aboard the USS Rathburne FF 1057 in beautiful Waikiki, Hawaii. He often reminisced about the stunning landscapes and expressed a longing to return to that paradise.

A lover of art, Laine pursued drawing and painting with great enthusiasm. He also demonstrated his creative spirit through building projects and photography, capturing moments and memories that would live on for years to come. Music played a significant role in his life, and he couldn't resist an opportunity to sing karaoke, bringing joy to anyone who heard his voice. Known for his sweet tooth, Laine enjoyed candy, cokes, and even a tw***ie, which he humorously craved up until just days before he passed. His family recalls the happiness on his face when they brought him gummy bears and a tw***ie, a small gesture that brought immense joy in his final days.

Laine leaves behind his cherished wife, Cherryl (Champlain) Wester; daughter Brittney Wester; son Brett Wester, along with his wife Laura; and grandchildren Emma Austin and Claire Wester, who will forever remember their remarkable grandfather. He is also survived by his brothers Lee Wester (Connie) and Jack Wester, Jr., and his sister Pamela Sutton.

Life is fleeting, a truth Laine embraced wholeheartedly. He loved deeply, forging connections that will last a lifetime. His legacy of love will continue to resonate, reminding his family and friends to hold their loved ones close and cherish every moment. Laine Eric Wester will be profoundly missed, but the love he gave will live on, carried in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
