This February, my babies had so much fun learning about:

🚦 Garrett Morgan – inventor of the traffic light
🇺🇸 President Barack Obama – the first Black President
🚌 Rosa Parks – who helped start the Montgomery Bus Boycott

Each week, we read stories, created hands-on art projects, and had simple but meaningful conversations about courage, leadership, and using our voices.

Caterpillars to Butterflies Child Development Center is celebrating Black History Month! 🖤

This week we learned about Garrett Morgan, the inventor of the traffic light. My babies were so excited to learn how something they see every day was created by a black inventor.🚦🚦🚦

We made our own little traffic lights out of construction paper, and they had the best time with this activity!
