Like a powerful computer system, the brain sends and receives important messages that control and monitor all cells, in turn controlling all bodily functions. If all the messages are sent from the brain and received by the cells, then the cells work correctly (reproduces itself, gets rid of waste, and functions correctly). If the cell sends messages to the brain and the brain can receive them, the brain can determine what the cell needs. There are millions of health and healing messages sent per second back and forth to all parts of the body, to every cell. These messages govern the thousands of functions that keep our body operational. Every one of these messages passes through a small area of the neck at the point where the head and neck join (Skull/C1/C2 area). It's a critical area in the brain's communication pathway for sending its health and healing messages through the Brainstem down the spinal cord, out over the nervous system to all the cells in the body. When the head is not positioned on the neck correctly information is not sent properly. If too much Information is being sent, that can cause hyperactivity or over production. Too little information can cause hypoactivity or too little production. When too little signals are sent it can result in limited production of Hormones, Insulin, and many others. Too many signals can result in Migraines, Rapid Heart beat, and many other problems/symptoms. The Upper Cervical Doctor's specialty is THE UPPER CERVICAL SPINAL CORRECTION, which is a Specific Re-Positioning of C1 or C2, Requires NO forceful pulling, twisting or jerking motion of the neck. The Correction is specifically designed to correct the head/neck misalignment, to restore body balance, and to re-activate brain communication to the areas affected by the misalignment. As soon as the correction is made, muscles begin to relax, blood and oxygen circulation increases, the immune system gains strength and coordination. This natural self-healing process continues as long as the head/neck alignment is maintained and the brain can communicate without interference to all parts of the body.
