As we ring in 2026 with countdowns and fireworks, remember that the "bang" of a firework can reach up to 170 decibels—intensely enough to cause immediate damage.
​Most importantly, listen to what your ears are telling you! If you experience muffled hearing, physical pain, or a ringing sensation during or immediately after your event, your hearing has already been impacted!

If these symptoms persist for more than 24 hours, give us a call!

🦃 Gobble up the conversation, not just the turkey!

Thanksgiving week is upon us, and for many, it is a highlight of the year! With many families gathering together in fellowship this week, we wanted to give a few helpful tips! If you or a loved one has hearing loss, try these:

1. The "Quiet Corner": If you have hearing aids, sit with your back to the wall. This helps block background noise from behind you.
2. Light it Up: Keep the room well-lit. We hear with our eyes too! Seeing faces helps fill in the gaps.
3. Buddy Up: Find a "hearing buddy" who can sit next to you and help rephrase things if you miss a beat.
4. Turn Down the background: We all love football, but try muting the TV during the main meal! Just think of it as an investment in family harmony! Besides, you can keep the volume up if you want on Friday for the EGG BOWL!
