It’s Family Fun Friday and here is a classic activity from Upward ABA🥰
Do you remember “Simon Says”?

Simon Says" can be adapted to be a fun and beneficial game for autistic children, helping them develop skills like listening, following directions, fine motor skills, social skills, functional communication and body awareness. By making modifications, such as providing visual aids or focusing on actions rather than the "Simon Says" rule, the game can be more inclusive and enjoyable. Make tonight a Family Fun Friday with this classic game!

Tips for Playing:
Start Simple: Begin with a few basic actions and gradually introduce more complex ones.

Be Patient: Allow for processing time and adjust the game to the child's pace.

Make it Fun: Focus on the enjoyment of the game and celebrate participation rather than strict adherence to the rules.

Involve the Child: Encourage the child to take turns being "Simon" and giving instructions.
