Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven would like to welcome Fred Leviton to our staff. We are so grateful to have Fred join our team and look forward to having him with us!
Fred is a lifelong learner and dedicated public servant with a diverse background in communications, technology, real estate, and community service. A graduate of Hernando High School, Fred has pursued continued education throughout his career, completing training in Combat Lifesaving, Real Estate, and Auctioneering, along with an Associate’s degree in Management of Information Systems. He has also undergone extensive law enforcement and emergency response training, including leadership, crisis management, hostage negotiations, and FEMA certification. He is currently furthering his education at Northwest Mississippi Community College, where he is enrolled in the Funeral Service Program.
Professionally, Fred has served his community in many capacities, including as a Realtor, Auctioneer, IT Project Manager, Wireless Engineer, and 911 Emergency Dispatcher for Hernando, Southaven, and DeSoto County. He also served as Director of Communications for the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office and is a proud veteran of the Mississippi Army National Guard.
Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Fred is an active member of Lifepoint Church in Senatobia, MS. In his free time, he enjoys being with his wife, Kim, and their five children, as well as spending time with family and friends when not serving others.
