As quoted from author Henry David Thoreau, “I took a walk in the woods and came out taller than the trees.”

That is what a group of MDS members did this weekend on the MDS Dentist Health & Wellness Committee Nature Walk at Walden Pond. As they roamed the grounds, they learned about the life and works of Thoreau, who once called that area home. It was a beautiful day to spend time outdoors with friends and colleagues.

The Worcester District Dental Society recently held its Sip and Suture continuing education course, where 20+ members attended. Participants performed hands-on suturing to master essential techniques while enjoying craft cocktails.

More than 100 MDS members with their families had a ‘roaring’ good time at the Franklin Park Zoo's Boston Lights: A Lantern Experience at the MDS Night at the Zoo event, sponsored in part by EDIC. Participants enjoyed a dinner buffet and got up close and personal with some zoo ambassador animals before venturing into the zoo to experience the lights.
