For anyone who had corned beef and cabbage yesterday 🍀 Have you ever wondered where that tradition comes from?

Corned beef and cabbage is an Irish-American tradition, not a traditional Irish one, born out of necessity by 19th-century immigrants. Upon arriving in America, Irish immigrants found beef cheaper than the pork (bacon) they used back home, and they adopted corned beef from Jewish neighbors, pairing it with cheap cabbage to replicate a traditional boiled dinner.

Last Friday Tradewinds' young adults attended "Success Fest 2026" at Nichols College🦬💚
The event promoted mental health support 🧠🤲for young adults and their families 🫶during this transitional phase in their lives. There was over 50 community support vendors, workshops to spread awareness and build skills, and goodies from vendors that supported connecting to resources. 🌟⭐️💫
We had so much fun this year and are looking forward to the next❗️😁✨
