🌟 Meet Kim! 🌟

A long-time member of our On The Mend team. Her kindness, dedication, and deep product knowledge make her an invaluable part of our team.

We are so grateful to have you in the team, Kim! 💚💙

1. Where did you grow up, how big was your family?
I grew up in Sylvan Beach, a small town in upstate New York. I’m the second of six children, so there was always plenty of activity around the house!

2. What have you done professionally?
Over the years, I’ve worked at a plumbing supply store, a medical billing office, and a gift shop. Those experiences eventually led me to Bed Bath & Beyond, where I spent 15 years growing from sales associate to assistant store and operations manager. My last stop and my favorite has been On The Mend Medical Supplies & Equipment!

3. Favorite job and why?
I enjoyed Bed Bath & Beyond for a while because it allowed me to organize and do lots of resets, which I found satisfying. However, I was happy to move on and join On The Mend. Here, I get to do some of the same things, but also so much more. Most importantly, I love helping people and working with a team of like-minded individuals.

6. 28-inch WingIts grab bar install in Ray Brook, NY.
7-8- Installed a 6 ft ramp and grab bars for one of our longtime friend.
9. Access BDD Comfort stairlift installation with auto swivel/ turn.

VPL Installation: Helping Families Overcome Barriers.

Last week, our team installed not one but two vertical platform lifts for our customers.

One of the customers, had been using the same lift for over 10 years. When it finally gave out, even after a few repair attempts, we knew it was time for something new. Our crew took out the old one and set up a brand-new VPL 400-X platform lift.

We are so proud of our team. They always go above and beyond to make sure the people we serve get the best care. Now, these customers have safe, reliable access again, making it easier to move around and stay independent.

At On The Mend, our passion lies in bringing back comfort and mobility with every installation.
