These lip lines are not from smoking, they’re from sun damage and is a medical condition called solar elastosis. This result is what several CO2 laser treatments did for her so far. These kind of wrinkles cannot be fixed with fillers because the abnormal collagen that develops over time becomes thick and hard, almost like scar tissue. Filler may temporarily improve the appearance but after a few weeks to months, the results dissipate and the problem is still there unchanged. If you have these lip lines, you have a greater chance of developing a skin cancer. A consultation is mandatory because the skin must be assessed by our dermatology board certified APRN prior to treatment to ensure that no cancerous growths exist. Lasering over a suspicious growth or skin cancer can result in delayed or misdiagnosis. The good news is recent studies show that CO2 lasers can diminish the development of a non-melanoma skin cancer by almost half so it’s considered a preventative measure as well.

This is after 2 fat melting treatments with deoxycholic acid, (a.k.a. “Kybella”) under her chin, several Fractora Radiofrequency skin tightened treatments and finally chin and jaw filler, done over several years. Hand augmentation and rejuvenation with Renuva for my beautiful 80 year young patient. This product is a different kind of filler that grows your own fat naturally without having to get liposuction. Renuva is an allograft adipose matrix tissue graft used to augment most any area where fat cells naturally occur.

This is multiple Morpheus8 Radiofrequency skin tightening treatments done to not only improve the skin tightness but also to intentionally destroy fat. During the mission, an attack MH-47 Chinook from the the 3rd battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, with eight additional Navy SEALs, was hit by an RPG, killing everyone onboard. This was the worst single day in the U.S. Force death toll since Operation Enduring Freedom began almost six years earlier. It was also the single largest loss of life in the Navy Special Warfare since World War II. Operation Red Wings would eventually go on to inspire the blockbuster movie, Lone Survivor. Connecticut’s own Major Stephen Reich, of Washington Depot, was the mission commander. RIP warriors. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
