0n September 24, 2025, Pet Passages of Southbury, CT — a division of Stone Family Cremation Services — was deeply honored to assist the Brown family and the Connecticut State Police in paying final tribute to retired narcotics K-9 Officer Favor, Badge #9024.
K-9 Favor faithfully served with the Troop A Southbury Narcotics Task Force, playing a vital role in numerous drug-related investigations and arrests. Her disciplined service and steadfast loyalty exemplified the highest standards of a K-9 officer. Throughout her distinguished career, K-9 Favor was instrumental in numerous drug-related arrests, serving with unwavering loyalty, strength, and discipline.
Her contributions to public safety and her partnership with her fellow officers left a lasting impact on the community she so faithfully served
Following her honorable retirement, Favor was welcomed into the loving home of Clayton and Barb Brown, where she spent her golden years surrounded by warmth, love, and family. Affectionately known as "Fava-Flave," "Favz," "Lady Bear," "Por-Favore," "Favie," "Quiet Alpha," and "Rolex" — a nickname lovingly earned due to her uncanny sense of time — Favor continued to bring joy, laughter, and love to those around her.
At the time of her farewell were State Troopers Tate and McKinney, accompanied by active-duty K-9 Kane. Together, they stood in solemn tribute, offering their final respects before K-9 Favor's cremation.
Their presence reflected the deep bond and enduring brotherhood shared among those who serve - both two- and four-legged.
It was with great reverence that Embrace Animal Hospital & Pet Passages ensured K-9 Favor received a dignified and compassionate farewell, worthy of her service and sacrifice.
