✨It’s always the people.
Not just the views or temples or bowls of noodles (though those hit different too) but the ones showing up every day with heart and hustle.
The man selling pho before sunrise. The woman balancing a Thai food cart and a toddler. The street vendors making crafts with sacred flowers, the market mamas, the quiet legends who keep everything moving.
•
Bangkok. Vietnam. Cambodia.
Three countries, a million impressions and rich takeaways.
•
We dared to speed through the backstreets and sidewalks on scooters in the rain to view temples and the culture of Chinatown.
We weaved through Hanoi’s wild traffic on an e-bike with a guide who treated us like old friends while simultaneously trying to kill us.
•
We got sweaty, dusty, lost, full, amazed, and reminded again and again how much there is to learn when you leave your comfortable bubble.
•
The takeaway?
People are magic.
Kindness is a language.
Change is vital.
And every single day is a chance to see the world and each other a little more clearly.

✨Another year deeper into The Go Years..
A season of pleasure, presence, and unapologetic joy. ✨
The intention is to live in pursuit of what feels good...
•
Chasing mornings with sunshine over the ocean, fresh green juices in hand. Long walks where the jungle hums and the world softens. Teaching and learning in sacred spaces, moving breath and body in rhythm with life itself.
•
Sinking into intimacy, adventure, and the kind of love that only deepens with time. With trust. With presence.
•
Where pleasures are also to be found in the seasons of stillness, when we’re not chasing sunrises across the world, when we’re home. Breathing yoga, playing in the yard, digging deeper roots and giving back. Standing beside those who have carried the weight of war. Supporting Veteran Service Organizations, holding space for SOF operators and their spouses, and making sure those who’ve sacrificed so much not feel alone.
•
This is 57 and the pursuit of enjoying a life well-traveled, well-fed, well-held. Grateful for every lesson, every mile, every sunrise I get to wake up to. And most of all thank you to my lifetime love, my co-adventurer, my forever home for making this ride the best one yet. 🎁

What an honor it was for me to be asked share my story with this maginificent gathering of SOF spouses. ⬇️
•
SOF spouses are the steadfast anchors who keep the home fires burning while their partners protect our freedoms. They have shouldered the weight of raising families, often as both mom and dad, navigating deployments, relocations, and uncertainty with resilience and grace.
•
To sustain their strength, my hope is they begin or continue to turn to the evidenced based practices of mindfulness, intentional breath work and yoga- grounding themselves in the present moment further nurturing a healthy mind, body, and spirit.
•
These practices, combined with a commitment to living a healthy and sustainable life, allow them to create stability amid chaos, ensuring their children thrive and their homes remain sanctuaries of love and growth.
•
The foot stomp is : When we prioritize our own well-being, we not only model resilience for our families but also foster a deep connection with our partners, nurturing a bond that has the capacity to transcend distance and challenges. The challenges are many, and many success stories have been written as well.
