A lot of patients shy away from cash pay options because they figure, “I’m already paying a premium, so I might as well go through insurance”. Depending on your plan, this may be the better option but for the majority of healthy individuals with a plan that does the least amount for you - going through insurance may end up costing you more.

Always ask about cash pay options and learn the what your plan REALLY covers. There are so many nuances and many subscribers have no idea what they’ll be financially responsible for until they get a hefty bill in the mail.
