Yesterday we had a little fun mixing things up in the best way 🌮🍿
We treated one of our clinics to tacos for Cinco de Mayo, and both clinics got popcorn for Popcorn Tuesday, because sometimes the small, simple moments together are the ones that stick. A shared lunch, a snack break, a quick laugh in the middle of the day… it all matters.
So grateful for this team and everything you pour into the work you do every single day. You show up with patience, heart, and so much care for the kids, and we don’t take that for granted.
Just a small way to say thank you and bring a little extra joy into the day 💛

We’re so grateful to have been part of this beautiful event organized by connecting with so many autism families and community members.
Hearing your stories, sharing conversations, and simply being present with you all meant so much to us. Our table had sooo much swag, but the real takeaway was the connection, understanding, and love throughout the day.

Circle time at Akoya is so much more than just a routine, it’s a powerful learning moment for every child. Circle time teaches kids how to interact, communicate, and collaborate with their peers in a natural, playful setting.

During these sessions, children practice taking turns, listening to others, and building friendships, all while engaging in songs and games. Every small interaction is a step toward essential social skills that complement their individual ABA goals.

At Akoya, we see the magic happen when kids learn from each other, imitate positive behaviors, and celebrate achievements together. These moments help children develop confidence, empathy, and cooperation, creating a strong foundation for lifelong social growth.

We recently transitioned to smaller groups so each child can gain even more from the experience, and each staff member has a turn to lead, bringing their own unique energy and ideas to circle time.

Huge thank you to our wonderful staff who make this all happen every single day. 💛

There’s something really special about getting to step out, connect face-to-face, and share what Akoya is all about. Every conversation, every smile, every person who stopped by our table meant more than you probably know. Being able to spread awareness and truly connect with so many people was such a meaningful experience for us.
