merly UCP/Detroit) is a local non-profit advocacy organization representing the needs of the 1.4 million Michiganders with disabilities. The Detroit Red Wing Alumni Association, which is the oldest such organization in the NHL, now plays around 30 games a year to the benefit of worthy charities. The alumni roster includes such names as John Ogrodnick, Darren McCarty, Todd Bertuzzi, Dino Ciccarelli Dennis Hextall, Joe Kocur, Craig Wolanan, Pat Peake, Eddie Mio and Mickey Redmond.

Our volunteer players for March 15, 2025 will each be raising funds for MI - UCP. Check their pages out here.

Today is World Cerebral Palsy Day! A day where we bring awareness and advocate for people with cerebral palsy to live a Life Without Limits.

There are more than 17 million people across the world living with cerebral palsy. Another 350 million people are closely connected to a child or adult with cerebral palsy.

Cerebral palsy is a physical disability that affects movement and posture. Many people with cerebral palsy have other related vision, hearing, communication and mobility needs. Its impact can range from a weakness in one hand, to almost a complete lack of voluntary movement.
