It blows my mind how females have Nooooooooo problem paying $700 for a wig and another $150 to be installed.
Then soon as yall want your hair braided , now you wanna work off EBT prices. Keep that same Wig Energy.
As braiders we stand on our feet anywhere from 4-8 hours for one client. And then people have the audacity to question your prices.
You don’t go to Gucci , Foot Locker, Louis Vutton, Grocery Store , Victoria Secrets and try and talk them down so why do it to a braider?
Or let’s not forget you all will go to the Africans and pay them $500 to pull your edges out.
Braiding is not for the weak sooo please pay accordingly and when you start talking “Human Hair” please by all means know that’s gonna up your cost, braids to your butt or longer will up the cost, tiny braids will up the cost . Not being funny but we gotta stop trying to play broke when it comes to our braiders.

Everyone is not your clientele as a service provider. You also have to know this and know your worth.

Going forward my prices are my prices. I have a life to live! No longer offering sympathy discounts due to economic hardships. Especially when hardships only hit when you calling me 🤷🏾‍♀️

P.s. And by the way , I shampoo anyone that wants me to , so let’s not …
