Emergencies happen — here’s a simple checklist for wheelchair users when travelling 🚍♿
✨ Before you go: pack a tiny go-bag (meds, charger, ID, mobility notes). Ask the driver to secure your chair with 4 tiedowns + a seat belt.
✨ If something happens: stay seated if it’s safe — lock wheels, keep belts on, and tell the crew exactly what you need.
✨ After: take photos of any damage, check yourself, and ask the carrier for an incident report.
Pro tip: keep a compact WC18/19-compliant securement kit (4 tie-downs + lap/shoulder belt) in your bag or vehicle — available as a full set or single parts for easy swaps. WC18/19-compliant when installed as directed.
