This year, for the first time, a woman of color will be on the ballot for President of the United States. Prior to Vice President Kamala Harris, Secretary Hillary Clinton's name appeared on the ballot for President in the United States. We also acknowledge and celebrate that in 1972, our soror, Shirly Chisholm, was the first woman to seek a major party's nomination. The Pontiac Alumnae Chapter encourages everyone to exercise your constitutional right to vote for the candidate of your choice. Please join us in celebrating this historic day!
