Hi Glow Up Community! My besties Ayana Sailor and Keisha Dixon and I are committing to some BIG goals going into the New Year!!

So without writing a book here, I’ll be brief, lol! We are either already 50 or turning 50 soon, metabolisms slowing down from peri menopause or menopause, weight gain creeping in, weight loss slowing WAY down. And we are NOT accepting it. No thanks🚫

So we are kicking off a life long healthy lifestyle journey. I started a few weeks ago, Ayana started last week and Keisha is getting started this week!

1️⃣ Hammer Curls: Tone those biceps and forearms.
2️⃣ Upright Rows: Strengthen your shoulders and upper back.
3️⃣ Shoulder Press: Sculpt your deltoids and triceps.
4️⃣ Sumo Squats: Engage your quads, glutes, and hamstrings.
5️⃣ Side Lateral Raises: Define your shoulders and improve posture.

🔹 No gym? No problem! All of these exercises can be done at home. All you need are some dumbbells!

🍑Today’s Workout🍑
✳️5- Push Ups w/ deadlifts combos (May also use DB’s) 4 push ups & 4 deadlifts, repeat 4X
✳️15 (each leg) - High Knee Lunges
✳️10 (each side) - Side Lunges w/ Hammer Curls
✳️20 - Sits Ups w/ Shoulder Press
DO A TOTAL OF 4-5 ROUNDS!
Rest for up to 30 seconds between rounds!

*OPTIONAL*
🏃🏽‍♀️Cardio - 30 minutes, suggestions:

Anyone pulling out the charcoal grill today?? 🔥

We make some AMAZING veggie kebabs… everyone in the family loves them!! Even the kids! (the true test!)

Mushrooms 🍄, bell peppers🔥, onions🧅 baby potatoes🥔 cherry tomatoes🍅 pineapple chuncks🍍. All drizzled in a generous amount of balsamic vinegar.

✨I know, I know. I’m drooling too. 🤤

Spending Saturdays here with my favorite girls never ever gets old!!  There’s just something about knowing it’s a 3-day weekend that makes today that much more relaxed.  I’m always hustling because that’s how I operate, but I know how to throw some fun days in there too.

Day 21 of the new program is in the books!! Today we did EMOM’s (every minute on the minute). My arms were so tired after paddle boarding last night but I pushed through!

A few of the exercises that we did:

Walk out / Double Push-ups
Sledge Hammers w/ Pop-outs
Hinge w/ Hammer Curls

⏱ set your timer for 60 seconds
💪🏼Get in as many Reps as you can for 40 seconds, rest 20 seconds
⏱Start over
👉🏼Do 6 Rounds!

Our Story

The Forty Fit Club is a global community of people over the age of 40 who are serious about their health. We are made up of all levels, from people interested in health who have not dived in to elite athletes and everything in between!

Our mission is to inspire people to take control of their health and enjoy an active, healthy lifestyle. We have partnered with health and wellness professionals with various backgrounds to assist us in tackling various health issues.

We have members located all over the world and we come together virtually via our FB Group and Page to share workouts, recipes, lifestyle techniques and tips. In 2020, we will be launching our Ambassador program which will include live events in various locations not only in the US, but Internationally as well.
