It took me 3 tries and all night, but I learned how to do this basic square stitch bead weaving.

This ramshackle piece is made with basic cheapo cotton thread and a handful of beads for practice, thus why it's crude, loose,and crooked. It's not finished, there's supposed to be a backing to it, but by the time I was done with just this part, I had neck pains and stiff fingers.

Basic dollar thread will not pull tight or hold tension without snapping. The idea behind this woven bead square, is actually a woven bead tube focal for a bracelet. I think next time I do this I'll use smaller beads or pick a different shape of beads. 🤔

I didn't want to waste materials just for learning a new beading skill, so I just hobcobbled this together for the learning experience.

I'm definitely getting or making a beading loom because scrabbling about trying to do this freehanded was a exercise in anger management and patience that took alot longer than it should have.

Anywhose.. In a couple days there's a huge lot of Itty bitty 12/0 seed beads, and faux leather supplies coming because I'm about to get back into embroidering bead crafts again.

Here at Sacred Star Herbs and Curios, you will find many homemade crafts ranging from paper craft, cloth crafts, ritual oils , candles, herbal mixes, jewelry,gemstones, and various Wiccan, Pagan, Santeria, Hoodoo/Voodoo and general Witchcraft supplies and spell crafts formulated and suited for almost any purpose! There is no one faith, path or practice here, everyone is welcome and treated equally and respectfully regardless of beliefs. We also do "plain" unadorned and basic crafts for those customers that are not interested in the Wiccan or alternative religions based crafts.

All items and materials used are as natural and homeopathic as possible with very little or no synthetic ingredients or materials added. In the event that we are unable to provide a product or we are short of materials you will receive it ASAP and as soon as we can obtain it. Particular spells and items used in the spells themselves are created and made upon request and you will receive it within 3-7 days of request. We also offer international shipping, and standard rates will apply according to where your order is being sent.

We provide services and spell crafts for specific goals such as love, money, healing, protection, reversing and banishment, all cloth crafts are hand sewn, beaded and embroidered as requested. Actual price ranges on most of my products are from $3.00 to $50.00 depending on the items requested and the time and materials used in its creation.

We also offer tarot readings, divination work, spiritual consultations, and will cast specific spell work depending on the situation and the need of the customer. We will not under any circumstance, work or perform or be involved in any sort of serious black magick or negative oriented ideals. We will not hex, curse, or do any sort of negative work for anyone for any reason. We work for the purpose of providing positive outcomes only, as what you send out , so to will you receive in return, and We do not want anyone's ill luck or bad magick coming back on us just because we helped someone else in their negative working.
