🗨️ "I'm ready to go home." - Barbara McMenemy

Congratulations to Barbara, who recently completed her rehabilitation journey with us! She came for short-term physical and occupational therapies after breaking her leg. She made great strides, achieving independence in bed mobility, hygiene and dressing and only needing minimal assistance with walking, getting around, and managing stairs.

Well done, Barbara! We wish you all the best! 👏

We are excited for you to meet our new Director of Nursing at Rivergate Terrace, Lisa Martinez. 👋 👩‍⚕️

Lisa is a proud wife, mother, and grandmother whose nursing journey is nothing short of inspiring. She became an RN in 2017 after serving as an LPN for 8 years, and she started that LPN journey at age 39. She was also the class president and recipient of the Outstanding Leadership Award. Another fun fact, she and her sister were the first in their family to graduate from college. 🙌

🩺 Over the years, Lisa has worn many hats in skilled nursing, including Unit Manager, Wound Care Nurse, Infection Control during COVID, and has achieved an incredible record of 5 zero-citation surveys and 1 zero-citation federal survey.

When she’s not leading our clinical team, you might find Lisa in her garden, enjoying true crime stories, or spending quality time with her family. Stop in for a tour and meet Lisa, and you’ll quickly see why we’re so proud to have her on our team! 💙
