WOW! We went to Polonus for the first time and we will return! Homemade Polish food! One resident mentioned that they hadn't had that soup since her mom made it! If you like Polish food, this is the place! It's located in Wyandotte. The food was delicious & the service was fantastic! 😋

Week 6 of of the American House challenge was tea-riffic!! With the theme of "Tranquili-Tea," residents and team members surly felt a sense of relaxation and tranquility as they sipped on all kinds of teas, from green to hibiscus and that good old fashioned sweet tea 🥰 Stay tuned for next week's "Back to School" theme! What could the key ingredient be?

Thanks to AARP and Life Enrichment Director, Erika, Atlanta Braves superfan and American House Bristol resident Faye, experienced a Wish of a Lifetime! Not only had this lifelong fan never been to a game, Faye's first Braves game was a historic one—it was the first time a Major League baseball game was played in Tennessee, the state that Faye calls home ⚾

The fifth week of the American House challenge was a classic! In honor of National Lemonade Day, residents loved the "Lemonade Lounge" theme 🍋 As you can imagine, from raspberry to blackberry and everything in between, there were many unique spins on the fan-favorite! Next week, we'll be changing it up a bit, so some on back to see the tea-riffic outcome 😉

Well, maybe not THAT Turner, but very special nonetheless 🥰 Not only does Mrs Turner have a remarkable memory when it comes to dates and names, she has - wait for it - 78 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren! And, yes, she knows all of their names 😉

Family Night was AMAZING!!!! Residents enjoyed great food, great entertainment ("Frank Sinatra"), and a beautiful '64 Baby Blue Buick! A special shout out to ALL of our staff! The entire staff went above & beyond to create a very memorable evening. This team is INCREDIBLE!!!! ❤️🥰😍👍

Sara from TMT is a true joy to our community! She is the Musical Therapist & she comes to sing with us each month. She usually has some toys or instruments to play along. This month we played kazoo's, train whistles, and some other noise maker that was a blast!!

We were SO excited to go to Cracker Barrel! We couldn't go last week due to the crazy Michigan heat. As always, the food was wonderful! We really enjoyed the Country Store! We picked up some great items!
