Richard Testa is a 1989 graduate of CCMT. He has been practicing massage therapy since 1989 and is co-owner of the Family Therapeutic Massage Center in Southington. He specializes in functional orthopedic assessment and rehabilitation massage to help enhance the optimum health and performance of his clients. He was on the Medical Service Team for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, GA, the 2002 Winter Olympic Sports Massage Team in Salt Lake City, Utah, the 2004 Summer Olympic Massage Team in Athens, Greece and the 2012 London Olympic Games, selected to 2016 Summer Games in Rio. Richard was the AMTA CT Chapter coordinator for the Massage Emergency Response Team (M.E.R.T.) and a member of the 9/11 deployment of Connecticut therapists to Ground Zero. He served on the Board of Directors for the CT Chapter of American Massage Therapy Association as Co-Sports Massage Director, was named the AMTA National Sports Team Member of the Year in 2010 and has been teaching Sports Massage and Orthopedic Assessment at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy since 1992. Deborah Testa began her career in healthcare as an LPN. A graduate of Goodwin Regional Vocational School and Bristol Hospital School of Nursing, Debbie practiced nursing in the hospital setting for 27 years. In 1989, she graduated from Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and is an active member of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association. Along with her husband, Richard, Deborah owns Family Therapeutic Massage Center in the Plantsville section of Southington. Together they have been serving the community since 1989
