Join us in honoring the incredible recipients of the 2026 Hartford HealthCare Nightingale Awards for Excellence in Nursing! These annual awards recognize outstanding nurses who have made significant contributions to the profession and have been nominated by their patients or peers.

The Nightingale Awards celebrate the dedication, compassion, and expertise of our nurses.

✨ Pamela Leone, MSN, RN ✨

Pam always practices with curiosity, never judges, mentors intentionally and leads with a firm, guiding hand. Nurses she guides develop stronger assessment and documentation skills, plus greater confidence in managing complex patient situations. Her readiness to lead shows profound commitment to the people we serve. Named interim director of St. Vincent’s Special Needs, she identified key concerns and partnered with colleagues to correct and strengthen processes. She repeatedly steps in during leadership gaps, provides structure, repairs processes and supports colleagues through challenging transitions.

This is how we celebrated Earth Day! 🌎

🪴We got our hands dirty by planting seedlings for our garden. George, our resident showed us how to start a vegetable garden the hydroponic way. While Mary helped us plant seedlings for a flower garden.

🪴 We also made flower arrangements for our dining tables

🪴 Then we enjoyed some yummy “dirt cake” complete with worms- gummy worms of course!

Thank you to everyone who joined us !
