I have had a passion, for as long as I can remember, with helping new mothers through the first days and months of their postpartum period. It started many years ago with hosting groups of mothers in my home after seeing so many struggle through those initial days and months of motherhood with little knowledge and support.

As an experienced mother, my desire was to help these moms navigate through feeding issues or sleeping issues, or just be there to give comfort with simply listening, giving a hug or covering her with a blanket as she napped on my couch while I cared for the baby.

My journey into becoming a postpartum doula began when a dear friend saw my passion, desire and heart for serving mothers, encouraged me to look further into this incredible field. My friend was absolutely right, and I have been serving families since! With over six and a half years of postpartum doula experience, I have supported hundreds of clients and babies! In addition to my postpartum experience, as a matured woman, having raised three sons now in their 30s, I have quite a lot of life and work experience that enhances my ability in serving as a postpartum doula. My hearts desire is to help women in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area during those first amazing, sometimes bewildering and often exhausting days and nights of parenthood.

The other passions of my life are my faith, my family and especially, my five amazing grand-babies! I love gardening, crafting, good friends, dogs, babies, and the beach.
