Summer time is upon us!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This season why don't you skip the margaritas (and the hangover) and indulge in a mocktail instead?

The benefits of lower alcohol consumption are numerous: improve sleep, boost immunity, increase energy, improve your mood, lower blood pressure β€” the list goes on and on!

Here is an excellent recipe to get you started β€”
Margarita mocktail with an orange twist:

β—» 1 1/2 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
β—» 1 ounce freshly squeezed orange juice
β—» 1 to 2 teaspoons agave nectar
β—» 1/3 cup sparkling water
β—» Sea salt for rim
β—» Extra lime slice, for garnish

Add the lime juice, orange juice, agave nectar and ice to the serving glass and stir vigorously for 15 seconds to combine. Top with sparkling water and garnish with an extra lime slice.

May is Mental Health Awareness month and we'd like to take this moment to remind you that your mental health is just as important as your physical health β€” you must take time to nurture it.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Mental health is essential for maintaining a healthy body, as it influences our behaviors, emotions, and thought processes. Practicing good mental health habits, such as mindfulness meditation, therapy, and social support are incredibly important along with maintaining healthy levels of B-vitamins and strengthening your gut health.

There are many activities and habits that you can incorporate to boost your mental health, like regular exercise, adequate sleep, practicing mindfulness, spending time in nature, engaging in creative activities, and connecting with loved ones. Stay away from processed foods and alcohol which can significantly damage your gut health.
