fungal acne is one of the most misdiagnosed skin conditions i see

it looks like regular acne: tiny bumps, texture, sometimes inflamed

but treating it like acne… is why it won’t go away

this isn’t bacteria-driven, it’s yeast

so your typical acne routine can actually make it worse

what you actually need:

zinc to regulate oil + calm inflammation
sulfur to reduce the yeast overgrowth
benzoyl peroxide to keep pores clear + prevent secondary breakouts
azelaic acid to smooth texture + target discoloration

my go-to lineup:

zinc — clear skin supplements from face reality
sulfur — mattifying sulfur masque (finally back in stock!!)
benzoyl peroxide — acne med 2.5% from face reality
azelaic acid — an-dew from anfisa

How to prevent & manage breakouts:
